Royal Mausoleum
The Mausoleum was designed by the Vietnamese architect Vo Toam and with the help of more than 400 Moroccan craftsmen. It was raised in memory of Mohamed the 5th, the father of Moroccan independence, this Majestic building was commissioned by his son, the king Hassan the second. Beneath at the Mausoleum lies the sarcophagus of Mohamed the 5th and at its two corners there are the sarcophaguses of his sons the King Hassan the 2nd and the prince Moulay Abdellah.
